Spring will be here before we know it… thank goodness. I don’t know about you, but I’m so sick of winter. I need some warm sun in my life, and I know you do too.
Head over to Urban Exchange Project in Fishtown to get the latest looks for spring!
As for the latest fashion hits, neutrals have been huge, especially monochrome outfits. However, I’m here to make some colorful suggestions to spice up your wardrobe.
I do really love the neutral color trend, but color makes you stand out and allows for a little bit of self-expression, which is always appreciated.
This look is one of my favorites. It’s simple, but effective. I paired distressed black jeans with some (also black) strappy sandals with a poppin’ red vintage button up. The neutral jeans and sandals are safe, but the bright top makes a statement and gives the outfit some character.
That’s what it’s all about: creating a look that’s unique and reflects who you are. I know all of you have unique characteristics, so show that through your style. Whether it be a colorful top, some rad earrings, a statement necklace, a belt, a purse, shoes, etc. I could go on and on.
POP. Your. Outfit.
This look pops the bottom half. Same concept though: take some neutral pieces (black top and sandals) and illuminate the outfit with fun, colorful pants.
An outfit can say a lot about who you are, so don’t be afraid to really express yourself.
P.S. the $10 rad red top and $18 playful purple pants (originally $100!!!) are both available at Urban Exchange!
