Flying Into Spring
Hello everyone!!! This week is going to be a little different because I have more to say and less pictures (I know it’s rough!!). I was recently in Paris, France and had one of the best experience of my life!! I’ll bore you with the details later but now onto one of my favorite OOTD’s (that of course features Urban Exchange Project clothes because when am I not reppin them?!?).
I decided to call this look a spring transition because it is perfect for the lovely spring days when you are freezing in the morning but by midafternoon you are sweating bullets!!! I normally stay away from layers but when traveling it is necessary to have some layers packed. Packing for traveling (especially in the recent weather) can be extremely rough because you do not know what to expect!!! This look is very versatile because the scarf and jacket can be taken off when the sun starts shinning down and you want to enjoy the rays!! I love how this American Eagle sweater from Urban Exchange Project is high low and has detail at the bottom. The small amount of detail caught my eye while in the store and once I put it on I fell in love (like I normally do with their clothing). It also has three quarter length sleeves so you do not get too hot if you have a jacket on. Best part about this outfit is that I paired it with leggings and a pair of chucks which is the best on vacation because both are light, comfy, and match everything!!!
Ps – all of these pictures were taken in Paris & by my friends Steph and Kenzi!!!
Okay, okay, I know after seeing these pictures from Paris you want to hear all about it (I know I’m dying to tell you all about it!!!!). I’ll keep it brief because I could go on for hours about it!!!!!!
The reason that I went to Paris was for school (I go to PhilaU and I’m a fashion merchandising and management major) and it was one of the best travel experience in my entire life!!!! I learned so much not only about Paris but also about the fashion industry. We had the chance to visit museums for Yves Saint Laurent, Pierre Cardin, and Martin Margiela (10/10 recommend looking up if you don’t know who they are)!!!! All three of these were major highlights during the week. We also went to the Louvre and D’Orsay which are art museums. We were able to see the connections between art and fashion and how they influence each other. One of my favorite parts of the week was going into the couture designer stores like Dior, Gucci, Hermes, and more. This put into respective why the prices are so high and why the designers are respected. Every detail of each garment was perfectly executed with no mistakes seen!!! Another highlight of the week was going to the Opera and seeing the ballet, it was phenomenal!!! I want to end this by saying…if you ever get the chance to go to Paris, fly on over there just like we are flying into spring!
Bye, Bria <3
ps – if you get a chance check out my friend Kenzi (@kenzi_miggs) who is also a brand ambassador for Urban Exchange Project, you won’t regret it!!
